An autoresponder will automatically send a reply email to anyone who sends a message to the address setup to use an autoresponder. You can modify the contents of this reply to indicate that you are on vacation, or that someone will reply to them soon, etc. You can additionally configure it to only send an autoreply then delete the message or to send the message to you so you can respond later.

Autoresponders can be setup under your cPanel.
