| An email alias or forwarder is how you configure an email address to go somewhere else or to multiple destinations. For example, if you already have you@yourdomain.com, and do not want to check a seperate email address for sales inquiries, you can configure a forwarder for sales@yourdomain.com to point to your email address. You would then receive emails sent to you or to the sales address. You can add multiple forwarders for the same email address to send message to more than one destination. for example, if you created a forwarder for sales@yourdomain.com to go to you@yourdomain.com, and another forwarder for the same sales email address to go to coworker@yourdomain.com, then both you and your coworker would receive a copy of emails sent to the sales address. You can configure aliases and forwarders in cPanel. |
