Due to network issues on the server our parent companies serves (www.sirkels.com) affecting the DNS of our servers as we have them named, we experienced what appear to be outages during January according to hyperspin, the third-party monitoring company we use.
In actuality, our customers websites were never unavailable during this time. Only the server names (such as svr5.sirkels.com) could not be resolved, resulting in a false-positive for hyperspin.
To prevent such issues in the future, we are correctly naming our servers on the ssahost.com domain, and are moving the sirkels.com domain/dns to our network - after all, it only makes sense that we use our own services for our sites as well right?
Currently sirkels.com is still on one of the legacy servers used when we first started offering hosting under this name and hasn't been migrated yet. This transition will be completely transparent and will not affect our customers sites or data.
