Neomail, an open source web-based email client is no longer being actively developed. As such, Neomail support has been discontinued in the latest release of cPanel as the script will soon be obsolete.
Emails will remain unaffected and can be accessed using the other interfaces.
To view the same folders in Squirrelmail, login to web mail, select Squirrelmail, click folders, and subscribe to the folders you used previously in Neomail. Refresh folder list or the page to see the folders listed in the left column.
Your folders will also be visible on the left-hand side in Horde. You may need to click on the Folder menu icon, then select "rebuild folder tree" for it to update your folder list.
Does this affect me?
This change only affects users who actively use the Neomail web-based email service. If you do not use Neomail to check your email online, you can disregard this message.
When will this change go into effect?
We have already made this change on servers "svr3" "svr5" and "svr6" - any users migrating to one of these servers will notice the change. Servers "svr2" and "svr4" are being retired and not affected as most users have already migrated to newer servers. Server "svr1" will likely be upgraded in the next few months - further announcements will be made specifically to the users of that server as we determine a specific date.
Please feel free to submit a trouble ticket via the members area if you have any questions.
