Domain registries VeriSign, Afilias, Neulevel and Public Interest Registry (PIR) have notified all ICANN accredited registrars that they will be raising their wholesale prices. As a consequence, eNom® will be adjusting our price effective Thursday, July 1st, 2008.
TLDs affected by the new pricing adjustment:
.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, and .name
Based on that, we will be adjusting our customers price on Thursday , June 10, 2010 as we need to have more time to make sure everything is working smoothly.
Our registration and renewal pricing for these domains, currently set at $8.95 will be adjusted to $9.95 on Thursday, June 10, 2010.
In the past we have not increased our domain pricing, despite this increment being the third within 3 years. Unfortunately, it is not feasable for us to continue absorbing the increase and must modify our pricing.
Who is affected:
Current customers with domains in the affected TLDs, registered through us and renewing on or after June 10th will be charged the increased renewal fee.
Current and new customers who wish to register new domains in the affected TLDs on or after June 10th will be charged the increased registration fee.
We regret that we have to raise our prices as a result of VeriSign’s decision. It is our goal to continue to deliver extremely competitive domain name pricing complemented with quality value-added services to our customers, and we will continue to work hard to meet your needs.
Thank you for your understanding and continued use of SSA Host.
